Dogs and dog lovers will enjoy free treats and grooming specials during the Grand Opening week-long event and the first 20 customers in the store on Saturday, June 25 will receive free Woof Gang Bakery gourmet dog treats for a year.
Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, the leader in specialty pet retail and grooming with over 200 locations across the U.S., celebrates their newest Texas location in McKinney with a week-long Grand Opening celebration beginning next Saturday, June 25.
Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming McKinney will offer a wide selection of all-natural and healthy pet foods, gourmet baked treats, specialty birthday cakes, toys, accessories, and pet supplies, as well as professional pet grooming in the north Dallas suburbs.
Shelley and Jim Howe joined the Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming family two years ago and are now making it their own family business with the addition of the McKinney location which will be managed by their son, Trevor Howe, a 2013 graduate of Frisco’s Wakeland High School.
“In 2020, when our family was confronted with the need to adapt to changing circumstances, we decided to invest in ourselves by acquiring Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Stonebriar in Plano, near Stonebriar Mall,” said co-owner Shelley Howe. “We are excited to be entering the McKinney market with our second Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming neighborhood pet store.”
“As a longtime franchising executive, I understand all the advantages franchisors provide new owners and knew that the innovative concept, excellent service, training and support Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming provides would make success much easier to achieve than on our own,” shared co-owner Jim Howe, whose family shares their life with four dogs, one foster and four grand dogs.
The grand opening kicks off on Saturday, June 25 at 9 a.m. and runs through July 2. The store is currently open from Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with plans to add Sunday hours in the fall. The store is conveniently located at 6701 Virginia Parkway, Suite 220, McKinney, TX 75071 in the Tom Thumb Shopping Center.
Throughout the event, 10% of the proceeds of sales will be donated to local pet rescues. The Howe family believes it is important to prevent animal suffering and cruelty and help educate the public about spaying, neutering, and all other aspects of responsible pet ownership, while helping animals find forever homes, four paws at a time.
The first 20 customers in the store on Grand Opening Day will receive free Woof Gang Bakery gourmet dog treats for a year. In addition, throughout the event, customers can enter to win free pet food for three months courtesy of Fromm Family Pet Foods, nail trims will be half off, and all booked grooming appointments will receive free upgrades.
