The grand opening event will take place on Saturday, October 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pete and Mary Hardin are the franchise owners of Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Fleming Island. They are active in the local community and committed to supporting and working closely with local rescues, such as the no-kill Safe Animal Shelter where they both serve on the Board of Directors. Pete and Mary are animal lovers who are the proud humans to Shih Tzu’s named Kona, Suki and Maggie, and a Puggle, named Starbucks.
“We saw an opportunity to be a part of an incredible organization that incorporates our passion for dogs and nutrition while allowing us to continue to be an integral part of the dog community of Clay County,” said Mary. “Our goal is to provide a friendly and knowledgeable atmosphere with top notch grooming, a great selection of quality products, and outstanding service to our community,” said Pete.
The first 20 dogs in store on Saturday will win free Woof Gang Bakery gourmet treats for one year. Plus, Safe Animal Shelter will be on site from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by Friends of Clay County Animals, Inc. from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with adoptable rescues looking for their furever homes.
