Dogs and dog lovers will enjoy free treats, grooming specials, meet adoptable pups and the first 20 customers in the store on Grand Opening Day will receive free Woof Gang Bakery gourmet dog treats for a year
Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, the leader in specialty pet retail and grooming with over 150 locations across the U.S., honors their newest location in Clifton with a week-long Grand Opening celebration beginning this Saturday, February 26.
Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Clifton, the second Virginia store for owner Mina Kim of Fairfax, is excited to showcase a wide range of all-natural and healthy pet foods, gourmet baked treats, toys, accessories, and pet supplies, as well as professional pet grooming in a location convenient to the local metro area.
The grand opening kicks off on Saturday, February 26, from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and runs through March 5th. The store is located at 5750 Union Mill Road, Clifton, Virginia 20124.
The first 20 customers in the store will receive free Woof Gang Bakery gourmet dog treats for a year. In addition, throughout the event, customers can enter to win “woofing great” baskets of pet toys and try free samples of signature Woof Gang Bakery treats. All pet grooming appointments booked during the grand opening will receive a free blueberry facial upgrade and free teeth cleaning. Plus, half price nail trims will be available.
On Saturday the 26th from noon to 2PM, local rescue Operation Paws for Homes will have adoptable dogs on site for potential adopters to meet and greet. The rescue’s mission is to create a better world for companion animals and the community through rescue, rehabilitation, education, spay/neuter, and providing resources to underserved populations.
Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming is a family business for Mina Kim, owner, who started by working in her brother’s store in Chapel Hill and then opened her first location in Alexandria in 2015.
“Following the success of our first Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming in Alexandria, I couldn’t wait to open our new location, bring our wonderful, healthy specialty products and services to Clifton and expand our neighborhood pet store to dogs and dog lovers throughout the surrounding communities,” shared Kim.
"We're excited to welcome Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming to Clifton, and we look forward to a successful adoption event on Saturday," said Anna Keefe, event lead and volunteer for Operation Paws for Homes (OPH), a non-profit dog and cat rescue. “We hope the community will come out to meet some of our adoptable dogs and chat with us about the mission of OPH and all the volunteer opportunities available to help save lives."
